« Great lakeside retreat for those that are not hung up on amenities. It was clean and quaint. Easy going, friendly staff made our two days very enjoyable. »

« Il y avait des coulisses dégoulinantes sur les murs. La prise de courant dans la salle de bain était défectueuse. Le robinet d’eau froide du lavabo dans la chambre était brisé et impossible de l’ouvrir. En soulevant le matelas, il y avait des taches suspectes sur les draps. La température était étouffante, et impossible de contrôler le thermostat. Il y avait un tas de neige dans l’espace de stationnement faisant en sorte que je ne pouvais même pas me stationner correctement. »

« Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. »

« I would give it a 5 star but when we arrived the grass hadn't been mowed and to sit around the fire pit we had to stomp down the grass to enjoy the fire, saying that the mosquitoes were pretty bad. I tried communicating with the host a few times and no response from her. There were no bath towels or face clothes, luckily we brought our own. Other than that the cottage was cozy and the kitchen was stocked with what you needed. Close to neighbouring towns for hiking and small town shopping. »

« Stayed for 2 nights had fun bonfires and laughs. Place was quiet and welcoming. Becareful on the docks they are wobbly but stay afloat. »

« Melanie’s cottage was great. Loved the lake. Kind and friendly neighbours. We enjoyed all the amenities and loved the pink flamingo floatie. »
